We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining technology platforms that support operational excellence and academic innovation. You will work with a modern tech stack and cloud technology to create scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities:

Frontend Development:

• Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Develop interactive web and mobile applications using frontend frameworks like React and mobile frameworks like Expo.
• Optimize application performance for speed and efficiency.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
  
  

Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services using Javascript.
• Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Build and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Set up backend processes for scalability and performance.
  
  

Cloud Technology:

• Deploy and manage web applications on cloud platforms (e.g.  AWS, DigitalOcean. etc)
• Implement serverless architecture when appropriate.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness.
  
  

Product Management:

• Interact with stakeholders to design effective solutions through technology
• Manage timelines to deliver features and projects reliably
• Communicate effectively across teams
  
  

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• We do not have product managers on the team. Instead, engineers and designers work closely together to ideate, design and deliver effective solutions to business problems.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
